As the name suggests, it serves as a home for garden millipedes. It's predominately scaped with Ohko Dragon Stone and doesn't include a planting substrate. It features a gravel bed that filters water before it's pumped to the top. A drip plate dispenses the water over the scape, creating a rain effect. It features a wall of stones that are covered in an array of mosses. Water is pumped from the pond area, where it then trickles down the face of the rocks. It creates a very subtle water trickle sound that's quite soothing. The Hourglass Terrarium won't do that, but it does look pretty neat. It was a really challenging project, that features custom woodwork and a repurposed hourglass. The moss is displayed in a way that mimics the sands of the hourglass. Since the idea itself is complex, the plant selection is simple and consists primarily of moss.
